DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on number of children and young people (under 15) in Estonia in 1920-2020 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Estonia, status 2020 (NUTS:EST). The number of children and young people in Estonia has decreased by about a fifth in 100 years. The main explanation is the aging of the population. The decrease is not as big as in Lithuania and Latvia.
