DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on natural increase of population in Estonia in 1921-2020 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Estonia, status 2020 (NUTS:EST). In the interwar period, unlike Latvia and Lithuania, natural growth was negative at the end of the 20s (there were fewer births than deaths). Since 1991, the natural increase was negative, but since 2016 (unlike Latvia and Lithuania) it has been positive.
