DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on number of births in Latvia in 1920-2020 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Latvia, status 2020 (NUTS:LV). The number of births has been affected by both the economic situation and the Second World War. In a 100-year perspective, the number of births has significantly decreased, the number of births in 2020 was 2.1 times lower than in 1922.
