DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on number of births in Lithuania in 1920-2022 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Lithuania, status 2020 (NUTS:LT). The number of births has been affected by both the economic situation and the Second World War. In a 80-year perspective, the number of births has decreased, the number of births in 2020 was 2.2 times lower than in 1940.
