DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on number of births in Estonia in 1920-2020 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Estonia, status 2020 (NUTS:EST). The number of births has been affected by both the economic situation and the Second World War. In a 100-year perspective, the number of births has decreased, the number of births in 2020 was 1,7 times lower than in 1922.
