DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on employment in services in Latvia in 1919-2022 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Latvia, status 2020 (NUTS:LV). The data contain information on the number of employed persons and their share in total employment. In the interwar period, the number of employees was relatively small and corresponded to the structure of the economy. After the Second World War, the number and proportion of employed people gradually increased, reaching 60% in 2020.
