DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on number of population in cities in Estonia in 1920-2020 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Estonia, status 2020 (NUTS:EST). The number of inhabitants in cities decreased during the Second World War, increased rapidly during the occupation of the USSR, but gradually decreased after 1989.
