DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on population density (per square kilometer) in Lithuania in 1923-2022 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Lithuania, status 2020 (NUTS:LT). During 100 years, the population density has been the most stable in Kaunas and Vilnius regions. In other regions, the density has decreased significantly after 1991.
