This dataset contains data on number of sheep and goats in Estonia in 1922-2023 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Estonia, status 2020 (NUTS:EST). During the interwar period, the number of sheep and goats increased, during the Second World War and during the occupation of the USSR, it significantly decreased, in the 21st century, the number tends to increase.
