DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on number of dairy cows in Latvia in 1920-2020 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Latvia, status 2020 (NUTS:LV). The number of dairy cows increased in the interwar period, decreased during the Second World War and increased from the 60s. In the 90s, the number of dairy cows decreased, in 2020 it was 6,5 times less than in 1939.
