DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on number of cattle in Estonia in 1920-2023 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Estonia, status 2020 (NUTS:EST). The number of cattle increased in the interwar period, decreased during the Second World War and increased rapidly from the 60s. In the 90s, the number of cattle decreased, in 2023 it was 3 times less than in 1939.
