DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on milk production in Latvia in 1920-2020 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Latvia, status 2020 (NUTS:LV). During the interwar period, milk production increased significantly. During the Second World War and Sovietization, production decreased significantly, then began to increase, reaching the highest level in the second half of the 1980s. In the early 1990s, the volume of production decreased and between 1994 and 2020 it has not changed significantly.
