DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on milk production in Lithuania in 1920-2022 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Lithuania, status 2020 (NUTS:LT). During the interwar period, milk production increased significantly. During the Second World War and Sovietization, production decreased significantly, then began to increase, reaching the highest level in the second half of the 1980s. At the beginning of the 90s, the volume of production decreased and in the 21st century the situation has not changed significantly.
