DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains data on milk production in Estonia in 1922-2022 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics codes of Estonia, status 2020 (NUTS:EST). During the interwar period, milk production increased significantly. During the Second World War and Sovietization, production decreased significantly, then began to increase, reaching the highest level in the second half of the 1980s. At the beginning of the 90s, the volume of production decreased and in the 21st century, the tendency is to increase.
